The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, CIPM of Nigeria was innogurated as an umbrella Association for Practitioners of Personnel Management in 1968 as the Personnel Management Association of Nigeria. It is the apex body empowered by law to regulate the practice of Human Resource Management in Nigeria. Through continuous innovation, the Institute strives to positively transform, develop and sustain professional excellence.
In line with this mandate, CIPM organizes yearly HR Best Practice Awards in 2012:
– To inspire the entrenchment of exceptional HR standards and practices in organisations.
– To identify and recognise organisations with a consistent track record of exceptional HR standards and practices.
